Bronson Bills has nearly 20 years of litigation experience in both state and federal court. Bronson’s practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and products liability. Bronson has successfully helped injured clients obtain millions of dollars.
After graduating from law school, Bronson was a law clerk for the Honorable J. Thomas Greene at the United States District Court, District of Utah. Bronson’s clerkship taught him the inner workings of the trial court, helping him learn firsthand how court decisions were made. It was an invaluable experience, which laid the foundation for his career. After his clerkship, Bronson went to work for a firm representing plaintiffs, where he utilized his clerkship experience to help injured clients.
The first trial Bronson worked on involved a single mom who was exposed to asbestos as a child, which caused her to contract mesothelioma, an incurable form of cancer. The defendants in this case did everything they could to avoid liability and to ensure a trial would not take place. After a three-week trial, the jury awarded the plaintiff in excess of $5 million dollars. Shortly after the jury verdict, the client passed died, leaving two children, one just a teenager. This experience was extremely fulfilling and meaningful and left a lasting impression on Bronson. From 2010-2011, Bronson was a visiting professor of law in North Carolina, where he taught civil procedure to first year law students. Bronson has published law review articles in Georgetown, Northwestern, and University of Connecticut law journals. After teaching, Bronson returned to private practice, focusing on those injured by the negligence of others.
Bronson was born and raised in Salt Lake City and attended Skyline High School. Bronson played baseball in college and played in the Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, CO. Bronson enjoys golf, fly fishing, and art. Bronson is married and has three children."
